Established in 1983 and closed in 2002, the Eight by Ten club rocked Federal Hill for decades. It hosted superstars such as: Dave Matthews, Phish, Nirvana, Robert Cray, Bo Diddley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Widespread Panic and many, many more. The 8x10 was widely considered Baltimore's best music venue. The intimate atmosphere and top talent delighted crowds of all walks of life.
The Funk Box is honored to take over this historic location and carry on it's tradition of bringing great music to such an intimate venue.
